Terms of Service

These Terms apply when you access, create an account for or use the Germanacharya portal at examprep.germanacharya.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Germanacharya, based in New Delhi, India, provides the Service. Contact details are available in the Legal Notice.

The Service provides independently created Goethe and telc practice for levels A1–B2, progress tracking and optional AI-supported learning feedback. It does not conduct official examinations, issue certificates or provide an official examination result.

You may receive a Germanacharya licence from a school, employer, teacher or training provider. That organisation decides who receives the licences available to it and may have additional learner rules that apply alongside these Terms.

You must provide accurate information, maintain access to your email address and use only your own account. You are responsible for protecting your password and sign-in method and must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

An account, session or licence must not be shared, transferred, rented or sold. The Service may restrict an account to one active sign-in at a time and may require email verification before protected features are available.

A free account receives only the question and AI-credit allowances displayed in the Service. We may adjust free allowances prospectively, but this does not reduce an already activated licence period.

A valid licence unlocks one selected level for the displayed duration. Activation, start, expiry, revocation and renewal dates shown in the account determine access. Licence codes may be subject to assignment restrictions and cannot be reused after activation.

• A licence is personal to the learner who activates it and covers only the selected level.
• Access ends when the licence expires or is validly revoked; expiry does not automatically delete the account or learning history.
• This portal has no checkout, card collection or automatic renewal. Payment, cancellation and refund questions should be addressed to the institution or seller that supplied the licence.
• School administrators can distribute available codes and view licence status, but only main platform administrators can create, edit, revoke or delete licences.

We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service and its protected learning materials for your own non-commercial study during your permitted access period.

Teachers and school administrators may use the reporting and licence-distribution functions made available to them for their institution. This does not grant a right to copy the question bank, media or explanations into lessons, handouts, another platform or a commercial course.

You must not use bots, crawlers, scripts, browser automation, scraping tools, bulk-download methods or similar systems to access, monitor, extract, index or collect questions, answers, explanations, images, audio, transcripts, metadata or other Service content.

You must not copy, archive, mirror, publish, redistribute, sublicense, sell or resell protected content or access; create a competing question bank or dataset; use content to train, test or evaluate an AI model; bypass technical limits or watermarks; reverse engineer the Service; or help another person do so without prior written permission.

All rights to automated extraction and text-and-data mining are expressly reserved to the fullest extent permitted by law. Mandatory exceptions that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

The software, design and original questions, explanations, media and other materials made available through the Service are owned by Germanacharya or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

Germanacharya is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official partner of the Goethe-Institut or telc gGmbH. Their names and examination titles are used descriptively to identify the exams for which independent practice is provided. No ownership of official examination materials or trademarks is claimed.

Germanacharya provides educational practice only. We do not guarantee admission to an examination, a passing score, a certificate or any particular result. Examination requirements and formats can change, and success depends on factors outside our control.

We aim to keep materials useful and accurate, but questions, answers, explanations, translations, scores and other content may contain errors, omissions or outdated information. Verify important requirements, dates and rules with the relevant official examination provider.

To the extent permitted by law, Germanacharya is not responsible for an examination result or a decision made solely in reliance on the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

AI-generated evaluations, transcripts, scores, audio and replies are automated learning aids. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent or unsuitable for your situation and must not be treated as an official assessment or the sole source of exam advice.

Do not submit confidential information or unnecessary personal data about yourself or another person. You are responsible for content you submit and must have the right to provide it. AI-credit limits and supported features may vary by access type and operational capacity.

If your licence is supplied by an institution, its authorized school administrators may view and export the limited learner, licence, progress, usage, expiry and activity information described in the Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how Germanacharya processes account, licence, learning, security and AI data. Your institution may provide a separate privacy notice for its own educational administration.

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, provider outages, security incidents, technical faults, legal requirements or events outside reasonable control may temporarily restrict features or access.

We may correct content, change providers, improve security, modify non-essential features or discontinue a feature. Where a material change substantially affects active licensed access, we will provide notice where reasonably possible and where required by law.

We may temporarily restrict access while investigating suspected scraping, automated extraction, account or licence sharing, unauthorized redistribution, security abuse, fraud or attempts to bypass limits. We may act immediately where reasonably necessary to protect users, content or the Service.

We may terminate access for a confirmed material violation, a repeated violation after warning, unlawful conduct or conduct that threatens the Service or another person. We may use access logs, rate-limit events and watermark information when investigating misuse.

To the extent permitted by law, termination for confirmed material misuse does not entitle the responsible user to a refund, credit, licence replacement or access extension. Where an institution supplied the licence, any purchaser refund or contractual remedy is governed by its agreement with Germanacharya and mandatory law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by law, Germanacharya is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, loss of data or losses caused by reliance on unofficial practice content, third-party outages or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or mandatory remedy that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, security, providers or law. The date above identifies the current version. We will provide reasonable notice of a material change where required. Changes do not retroactively remove mandatory rights.

If you do not accept revised Terms, you must stop using the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India and disputes are subject to the courts of New Delhi, India. Consumers retain mandatory rights and jurisdiction protections that cannot lawfully be excluded in their country of residence.

If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will apply only to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
